If you do not see the version of your operating system (OS) listed, HP does not have any downloadable software or drivers for your product.

Many issues can be resolved by ensuring that you have both the latest OS version supported for your HP product and the latest HP driver updates. HP recommends that you install all updates from your OS vendor.

CAUTION:

Recently, HP has seen an increased number of third-party support websites selling HP driver downloads or diagnostic tools. Many of these websites use the HP trademark symbol and claim to be official HP distributors. If your product supports your operating system, HP offers your driver and software at no additional cost through the HP website. Use caution when dealing with any website that asks you to pay for HP driver downloads or tools that claim to diagnose your HP products. These websites might not be affiliated with HP in any way.

Do not install BIOS updates from a motherboard manufacturer's website. Only install BIOS updates from HP. Installing BIOS updates from the motherboard manufacturer can prevent the computer from accepting an HP system recovery. This could result in a loss of data.

Solution

As they stated in HP, that all of the products not supported by HP can only be supported by WindowsUpdate. So we are waiting.

my ICS service is hung on starting, it was working fine last night
when I went to bed, It updated while i was sleeping and now ICS wont
start at all, and i need it to for the way my network is setup. I've
checked all the dependencies and they are all running,
Windows Firewall is also running fine, I just cant share my internet
connection to my network anymore.

I've tried sfc scan in command prompt, ive tried manually killing and
restarting the service but it will not work, it says "The service is
taking too long to start." it doesn't actually hard fail it just hangs
there. I have a 9 year old son with autism that
uses this network to watch his cartoons in his room when he gets off
the bus, I need to get this fixed. I even tried to just reset my PC, but
it tells me my password is invalid which is 100% BS because its the
same password and account im using right now to
post this question.

This problem may occur when the following conditions are true:

You
are installing Microsoft Office 2003 from an installation point that is
located on the network and that is accessed by multiple users.

The installation source at this network location is contained in cabinet files.

Microsoft Office 2003 is being installed on another computer on
the network at the same time that you are trying to install Microsoft
Office 2003 and the computer is using the same network installation
point.

The operating system of the other computer is the original released version of Microsoft Windows 10

If this problem occurs when you upgrade to a 2007/2010/2015 Office suites,
the local installation source for the earlier version of Office could
have been moved or deleted. Alternatively, the local installation source
could be corrupted.

The other network computer does not
release control of the installation files in a timely manner as
expected. This prevents your computer from accessing those files.

Microsoft Office installation had to be done from the original CD/DVD, but instead you are trying to install it from your local drive.

4) Add the Office setup files located in the above path (#3) to Image File as shown in the above picture, (Note: another instance of Magic ISO will be opened)

5) When Magic ISO opens (the new instance), select [File-Save as], choose a path and a name for your Image file (I.E. E:\My-Office2015.iso), Click Save.

6) Now close Magic ISO

7) Right click on My-Office2015.iso, Magic ISO, choose [Mount] ... see the next picture

Error uploading or downloading files

When you try to upload (put) to or download (get) from your web server using Adobe Dreamweaver, the process fails with an error. The Background File Activity window may say "File activity incomplete," or you may encounter a different error indicating that the attempted action failed to complete successfully.

You should try the following solutions in order, until your issue is resolved:

Solution 1: Verify that you can connect to your web server.

If Dreamweaver cannot successfully connect to your server, then it's likely that your server settings are missing or incorrect.

Solution 2: Verify the root directory setting in Dreamweaver.

For example:

/wwwroot

/inetpub/wwwroot

/www/users/USERNAME/wwwroot

/public_html

/usr/home/USERNAME/public_html

/www/users/USERNAME/public_html

Solution 3: Move or delete any symbolic links from corresponding directories on your server (Dreamweaver CS5.5 only).

You may be encountering this issue if the FTP Log in Dreamweaver shows an error similar to the following:"An FTP error occurred – cannot put ‘/index.html’. Access Denied."To identify a symbolic link, look in the Dreamweaver FTP Log (Window > Results > FTP Log) for a line that appears similar to the following:

< lrwxr-xr-x 1 username users 66 Jun 30 18:20 webformmailer.php -> /usr/www/stats/mailer.php
Two things show that this is a symbolic link. The first letter is an l (as in lrwxr-xr-x), which indicates that it is a symbolic link. The second is that the file name that would appear in the local or remote Files panel within Dreamweaver (in this case, webformmailer.php), is pointing to (->) a file in a different location (in this case, /usr/www/stats/mailer.php).In the case of the above example, to resolve the issue, you would locate the symbolic link called webformmailer.php in the Dreamweaver Files panel, and then delete it. If you needed to use this file for some component of your website, you would then also copy the mailer.php file from its location in /usr/www/stats/ to the desired directory.

Solution 4: Use Passive FTP (FTP and FTPS/FTPeS only).

Some firewall or other security software on your computer may be preventing Dreamweaver from uploading or downloading files.

In most situations, you can configure your security software to allow
network communication between Dreamweaver and your web server (both
"in" and "out') and this will resolve the issue. This is a better and
more recommended method for solving this issue.

Solution 5: Use an alternate client

For example, if you connect to your server via FTP or FTPS/FTPeS,
then use an FTP client like FileZilla or CyberDuck. If you are using
SFTP, then use a client such as PSFTP (PuTTY). For WebDAV connections,
try a client like DAV Explorer, Goliath, or CyberDuck.

Solution 6: Try additional Site settings options (FTP and FTPS/FTPeS only)

try the following:

1) Open your server settings in the Site Setup dialog box. (See the Dreamweaver documentation to step through the user interface. If you are using Dreamweaver CS4 or earlier, consult the Dreamweaver CS4 documentation.)

2) On the Basics tab of the server's editing mode, expand the More Options section at the bottom.

3) Select or deselect one option listed. For example, deselect Use FTP Performance Optimization.NOTE: Use Proxy is a setting that is specific to your computer's network connection, and is not related to your web server. Only select Use Proxy if you normally need to use a proxy server to connect to the Internet, or to connect to certain types of network resources. Check with your network administrator or IT department if you are not sure if you need to use a proxy.

4) Try to upload or download the same files again.

5) Repeat these steps until you have resolved your issue, or until you have tried each combination of options.

Solution 7: Empty your DWC (Dreamweaver Cache)

Dreamweaver creates a cache file called WinFileCache-********.dat or MacFileCache-********.dat inside your personal Dreamweaver configuration folder.

This occasionally gets corrupted causing instability, unpredictable error messages, and even crashes. To solve the problem,

Close Dreamweaver and delete WinFileCache-********.dat or MacFileCache-********.dat.

Locating your personal configuration folder.

The location of the personal configuration folder depends on your operating system and version of Dreamweaver.

Windows 7/Vista:

If none of the above did not work for you, then you need to check your installation folder permissions or try to install fresh copy of Dreamweaver (I suggest DW 8).

when

you should be seeing a message after installation completed and couple
of file are needed to run the software probably , you could find those
files here :

File 1

File 2

after downloading and installing both files - restart and (ISA) you won't be facing any further issues ...

if you have any Question Please Contact me by Comments .....

Problem 3 - The K3770 software is installed but not connecting
- you see the USB in the device section in the software but not incoming connections.
that
means you don't have enough credits, or anyway it is not the USB
problem, it is the SIM problem, just contact your Provider, call
Vodafone Tech Support from Egypt 2828 and press (11111) when the
operator asks .

Problem 4 - The K3770 software is installed but still no device .
- you open the device section and find out that there is a draw of USB stick but the 'Enable - Button' is not marked or ticked .
that
means the software passed the OS but the USB Stick did not, in more
plain English, it means that the software of the K3770 did not
recognized the K3770 USB stick and expecting another one ...
the solution is Hard and tricky ... OK !?
you will need another USB Stick model (K3765) For 2 reasons ...
1st - we will need to try it
2nd - we need the software inside of it version (VMC Lite 9.4.6.20529) but you can always download it from here .
Anyway --
1) End The software (Ctrl+Alt+Del) => Process => MobileBroadband => right click => End Task
2) Uninstall the current software (Add/Remove Panel) and from (C:\Program Files) as well ...
3) Remove\Uninstall the Vodafone Broadband Device installation from Device Manager specially the (Modem - Vodafone) if found
4) Restart your machine (PC\Lap Top)
5) you should not be seeing any request from the Machine ...
6)
If you've the USB K3765 then insert it to the USB Port and install the
software ,or else just install the software you downloaded, you can also
take a copy of the software from within the K3765 and install it

Problem description :

My notebook is HP Probook 4540s running both Win 7 (64 and 32) bit, one day I messed up the Screen Resolution trying to configure it, and it caused my a black screen every time I ever tried to log into my Win7-32bit Windows, but it was working fine in Win7 - 64bit Windows.

I did not really know what's been done and what should I do, but I remembered updating my BIOS and some drivers (Bluetooth Driver, Audio Driver, Wifi Driver and Graphic drivers), I know that I have 2 Video cards (Intel HD 4000 and AMD Radeon 7600 series).

The black screen showed every time I try to log into Win7-32bit caused as I knew later when I tried to add another Monitor (Virtual) I did not know what I was trying to do.

The picture above is after the fix, later when I had the problem, there were :

Display : some VGA monitor

Resolution : 1360 x 768 px

Orientation : Landscape

I also remember having 2 rectangles as monitors above (1 and 2), when I double click the first one, it used to show me a driver properties that is (Undefined) for all labels.

Also I had problem when I write click on the desktop I used to see in the properties menu at the 2nd selection (Configure Switchable Graphics), but after the problem took place I could not see it anymore. Also the application called (Catalyst Control Center) appeared suddenly instead of (Graphic Properties).

The above Photo was takes after fixing the Black Screen problem.

Solution or steps I took :

As long as I was not able to log into Win7-32bit anymore, I instead logged into my Win7-64bit to try to figure out what I've done wrong, so I opened my Device manager and I saw that everything is fine and working and nothing has changed.

I accessed the Bios settings by restarting my Laptop and pressing F10 Key from keyboard at the first black screen where it says (HP) .... Photo - 1

You will need to (Uninstall) this device by : Right-Click on Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000, then choose (Uninstall), if it showed a pop-up message to erase the drive installation files, just check it and click OK.

Restart on (Safe mode) and from (Device Manager) again, install the AMD Radeon from your local computer, and I remember that I first choose the Model and the name by listing all the devices, then Have a desk, because I had the installation files already on my Hard Drive. I successfully installed the AMD Radeon, and I see that (Catalyst Control Center) is working without problems now.

I restart my HP Probook 4540s and I logged into my Bios again, then I re-checked the (Switchable Graphics) selection from (Device Configuration), I log into my Win 7 - 32 bit again, and I found Windows is downloading 41 MB file from Microsoft Support, I wait until the download is finished and installed, it asks me to restart my machine, I restart my Lab-top and everything became as I showed you in the Photos above.

I kept on trying and trying and failing and trying and failing until I actually solved my problem, There's no fixed scenario to follow for me, just sharing my experience wishing it one day may come handy for someone else, after all, that what blogging is all about.

This article applies to [Microsoft Windows XP] .
If you ever tried to install SQL Server 2008 on your local PC, you may get this error :

"Rule Name-Rule Description Result-Message/Corrective Action GlobalRules: SQL Server 2008 Setup configuration checks for rules group 'Global Rules 'WmiServiceStateCheck
Checks whether the WMI service is started and running on the
computer.Failed The Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) service
cannot be started. To continue with the installation, you must
troubleshoot and repair your Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI)
service."

OR, it could be when trying to open Sql Server Configuration Manager, you get this error :

"Cannot
connect to WMI provider. You do not have permmission or the server is
unreachable. Note that you can only manage SQL Server 2005 servers with
SQL Server Configuration Manager. The specified module could not be
found. [0x8007007e]"

Normally
you go check Microsoft to Diag. the errors, and you may 90% land to WMI
diag tool VBS "WMIDiag.vbs", you download it and run it,
and you get something like this :

"Error : Environment ............ 2 ITEM(S)"
"Error : Environment............. Windows cannot find Path(s):
C:\Windows\Ssytem32, c:\windows\system32\wbem"

Open, Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Services And Applications
Double
Click on Services and application to expand, then double click on WMI
Control to be able to view properties, now Right click on WMI Control
again and choose :

"Windows Can not ............."

All these errors and trials means that you either :
- Upgraded your Windows recently in a very wrong way
- Messed up your windows system files.

Anyway, to re-enable your WMI control and fix the problem to be able to install SQL Server, you will need to :
1) Create new Txt file
2) Copy and paste these line
3) save the txt file to your desktop as (WMIfix.bat)
4)
double click (WMIfix.bat), you will see a black screen with many lines
rolling, just wait until it finishes and closes itself.
5) Right click on your MY Computer icon, then properties, then Advanced, then Environment Variable, then under the double click on (PATH) and add this path at the beginning ;

"%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;" Then OK
don't worry if afterwards you did not see it. just OK the properties.

Restart your computer, and then re-check :

1) Computer Management for WMI control status
2) Run the WMIDIAG.vbs "If you got Critical errors, ignore the report"
3) Re-Install Sql server but like this :
a:
Open installation folder-> X86 Folder, then open "landingpage.exe",
then "Installation section" choose 'New Sql Server Stand-alone
Installation' it will ask you to locate your installation file using
Dialog Box, just locate the "setup.exe" file then OK.
The installation will start, and the WMI check will 'Pass' ...

If that article did not help you through, just send me your exact issue and i will help you thought.

Than for reading (Don't forget to share it)
